Salary envisioned a fast-paced project with strong design concepts for the salary website’s new headquarters. It also sought bold color and material choices that would convey the company’s image and culture. Using readily available products, Studio Troika designed an office space that plays with color and materiality, while remaining a professional and inviting environment.
Anodized aluminum, perforated metal, corrugated plastic, white solid surface and birch plywood are a few of the materials used throughout the office to bring depth and dimension to high-use, daily spaces.
A shifting pattern of carpet tiles creates spaces based on use and department, delineating the divisions in a subtle but impactful way. The use of demount-able partitions as office fronts allows visual openness while still providing privacy to those employees who require it.
