Studio Troika designed this new space as PUMA’s headquarters for its global marketing and footwear design group.
Inspired by the quad on a college campus, the floor plan was organized around a central gathering / social space, which helps to foster impromptu interactions, collaborations, and meetings.
The project also included flexible pods of non-traditional workstation clusters organized around a variety of huddle rooms, conference rooms, reconfigurable meeting spaces, and product development rooms.
The traditional reception area was replaced by a combination virtual retail space and social area, so that visitors to the space enter into a lively environment that represents PUMA’s brand.
The center of the quad highlights a light sculpture made up of 100 vintage Puma retail bags illuminated by a 3 watt LED bulb.
