Gibbet Hill Grill is a farm to fork, traditional New England style restaurant and barn. The expansion project, completed in Spring 2017, involved the addition of the new lounge and bar seating on the main floor, along with dry and cold storage in the basement.
The design adds onto the barn without losing its asymmetrical charm. Simple moves such as window placement, and roof material allowed for the successful and elegant blend sought by the client.
The expansion required careful attention to structural detail and design by removing sheer walls and adding barn-style steel and wood structure to replace it.
