150 Coolidge Ave

840 sq.ft

2016

Watertown, MA

The 150 Coolidge Ave. project consisted of an update

to the building cladding as well as the addition of a

new modernized entry lobby. Working closely with

the client, the final design was one that gave a modern

downtown feel to a rather outdated looking building.

By pulling a new glass entry lobby toward the street

and wrapping it with brushed aluminum Alucobond

and a teak inlaid celling; attention is drawn to the

inviting entry. A dark grey Alucobond rain screen is

also carried across the upper band of the building to

help reinvigorate the tired looking concrete panels

they cover. Landscaping was designed with utmost

care, not only in terms of approach, but to provide

an outdoor seating and work area for the building

tenants as well.
